What is Bilt Rent Day? 2025

On Rent Day (the 1st of every month), Bilt World Elite Mastercard® cardholders enjoy elevated rewards(Up to 1000 extra points) on most purchases—excluding rent payments. From 12 a.m. ET to 11:59 p.m. PT, cardholders can earn bonus points on:

  • Dining: 6x points (normally 3x).

  • Travel: 4x points (normally 2x) when booked directly with airlines, hotels, or car rental companies.

  • Other purchases: 2x points (normally 1x).

  • Rent and taxes: 1x points, as always.

How to maximize this bonus?


Key Redemption Details:

  • Partners and Access: LifeMiles can be redeemed for flights on Avianca, Star Alliance partners, Gol Airlines, and Iberia.

  • Award Chart: LifeMiles uses a zone-based award chart, but domestic U.S. flights may deviate from it, occasionally offering advantageous pricing.

I’m planning to book a flight to Singapore for July 27th. The mileage redemption rates for various airlines are as follows: Avianca LifeMiles at 47,000 miles, Singapore Airlines at 42,000 miles, and United Airlines at 55,000 miles . However, if I take advantage of this promotion, I only need to use 34,000 miles to get to Singapore. Compared to the Cash rate of $541, this offers some savings, but not too significant.


Pro Tips to Maximize Rent Day Benefits

  1. Plan Purchases for the 1st: Schedule bills or big-ticket purchases for Rent Day to take advantage of the bonus rewards.

  2. Buy Gift Cards: Stock up on gift cards for your favorite restaurants on Rent Day to lock in the 6x dining rate. This way, you can enjoy bonus points while spreading out the benefit throughout the month.


    - What I personally do, is try to arrange my phone bill, wifi, PG&E bill, load up my Starbucks giftcard, and Amazon. You would have to have 5 transactions per month to get the rent points anyway, might as well get it on the 1st.
