Before making a reservation, go to the Awards section and click “Redeem Award” (see the photo below). When you search for a stay, the Guest of Honor benefits will automatically apply to your entire reservation (up to 7 nights).

✔ Opt for a long stay – Since the award is valid for up to 7 nights, maximize its value with a longer trip.

✔ Choose a property with a great breakfast – Avoid using it at Hyatt Place or Hyatt House, as most of them already offer standard (and not-so-tasty) breakfast. Instead, pick a property where breakfast is a true highlight.

✔ Be on a lookout for off-peak rates
